Your Summer Vacation Guide Part 4: Best Hotels in the World for Your Favorite Destinations

At last, we’ve reached the final part of our Summer Vacation Guide series! By this time, you should have decided where you’re going on vacation, estimated a rough budget for your trip, and figured out what airline you should use. Here comes the final step before we unleash you on the voyage of your dreams: finding the right hotel. There are plenty of cheap hotels out there you can stay at, as well as luxury hotels. But which ones are really reputable? Which ones are worth dishing your money out on, as little or as much as it is? That’s why we’ve done the research for you and come up with a list of the best hotels in the world for 5 of the most popular tourist destinations.

Le Bristol Paris – Paris, France ($$$)

Le Bristol Paris

This #3 rated hotel is a favorite among both business as well as leisure travelers alike. Winner of TripAdvisor’s 2016 Travelers’ Choice award, this hotel is well-known for its luxurious look and feel, and for the ultimate royal treatment. Many users comment that they’ve spent years saving up just so they can stay at this hotel, and have even canceled everything on their itinerary in order to enjoy the heavenly experience of staying at the hotel. Now, brace yourself as luxury doesn’t come cheap! You’re looking at about $950/night at the least. But it’s totally worth it if you’re spending your vacation in Paris, which, as we’ve mentioned before, is a country to which you’ll want to allocate a larger budget.

Casa Camper Hotel – Barcelona, Spain ($$)

Casa Camper Hotel

Although living like royalty in Paris doesn’t come cheap, we can’t really say the same for Barcelona, Spain. If you recall our last blog, traveling in Europe does vary in pricing, depending on the location. Spain and Portugal tend to be a bit lower budget than France or Great Britain. For around $200-300/night, this 2016 Travelers’ Choice award-winning hotel will give you an amazing place to stay with great amenities. If you’re a foodie, you’ll definitely enjoy the 24-hour snack bar that has an exciting new menu every day, as well as free snacks and made-to-order breakfast.

Red Wall Garden Hotel – Beijing, China ($)

Red Wall Garden Hotel

If you’re looking for a traditional Chinese experience as you prepare for your hike through the Great Wall of China, you should definitely check in to the Red Wall Garden Hotel located in Beijing. This hotel is renowned for its beautiful courtyard where many guests love to sit back and relax. Aside from that, you get a really authentic taste of Chinese culture, with daily tea ceremonies that guests are invited to, as well as Chinese wooden bathtubs – kind of makes you feel like Mulan when she was getting ready to see the matchmaker! Not to mention, you’re only dishing out around $120-130/night. This is a steal for an award-winning hotel.

White House Hotel – Istanbul, Turkey ($)

White House Hotel

If you’re on a romantic Mediterranean getaway (and even if you’re not) this is THE place to stay. Given the fact that you can walk in to a rose petal-covered bed and a hand-written welcome letter from the owner, it’s a bit surprising that the hotel only costs around $164/night. Aside from the excellent customer service you get here, you can also easily access all of the Turkish wonders, such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, as the hotel is centrally located. But the best part is probably the fresh squeezed orange and Turkish coffee you can get every morning!

Ariyasomvilla – Bangkok, Thailand ($)

Ariyasomvilla

Bangkok is a crowded, busy city. A city that really never sleeps. The Ariyasomvilla is the ultimate escape haven. Many guests say that this small hotel is very special, as it allows you to experience the liveliness of the large city, while still being able to escape into the “interior”, traditional aspects of Thai culture when you get back from your sightseeing. Your rooms are set up like a traditional Thai home, and you get unlimited Thai massages during your stay. Who could resist? Pricing ain’t too bad either, at less than $150/night.

We hope we’ve helped you narrow in on where you’re going to stay when you get to your dream destination this summer! Please note that this is not an all-inclusive list of hotels, and you’re not confined to this list. These are simply based on the highest-rated hotels in some of the world’s most popular destinations. We urge you to go on TripAdvisor and find a hotel that fits your needs and budget if none of these work out. Best of luck and safe travels this summer!
