For the second year in a row, USI Travel Insurance Services has been recognized by Forbes Advisor as one of the Best Travel Insurance Companies for 2021. Our company is among five companies tied for the top ranking on the publication’s 2021 list based on policy benefits and coverage options important to travelers, and we're the only broker included on the list. 

In its evaluation, Forbes Advisor took a data-driven approach by reviewing 15 coverage benefits for multiple travel insurance plans under each company, and the highest-scoring plan for each provider was used to rank overall companies. The 15 measures scored included coverage for:

•    Baggage delays or mishaps.
•    Trip delays, cancellation, missed connections, closed destination attractions.
•    Travel health or medical expenses, medical pre-conditions.
•    Flexibility to cancel for any reason.
 
Additionally, new this year, USI Travel Insurance Services has two plans ranked on the Forbes Advisor list of Best Pandemic Travel Insurance Plans for 2021. USI is among four companies tied for the top ranking on this year’s list based on Covid-related policy benefits and coverage options important to travelers. In its evaluation, Forbes Advisor reviewed whether coverage is available for Trip Cancellation and medical expenses due to Covid, the level of those benefits, and whether the plan also offers Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage as an optional upgrade.
